NCEA Level 3 Mathematics
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr J. O'Carroll.
NCEA Level 3 Mathematics for University Entrance is assessed using internal achievement standards only. Students are given the opportunity to sit credits through internal assessments across a variety of topics.
This course is designed for students who do not wish to specialise in Calculus or Statistics at Level 3 but still require Mathematics for University Entrance purposes.
The first half of the year is joined with Statistics and then takes its own direction in the second half of the year. If time allows, a third topic (4 credits) could also be studied. This will be assessed in November.
