Teacher in Charge: Mr J. van Mulbregt.
This Middle School options class will focus on hands-on, small-scale workshop projects where students can explore their creativity and develop practical skills. Students will have the opportunity to design and construct their own projects using a wide variety of tools and materials.
Students will learn basic techniques in measuring, cutting, assembling, and finishing while also gaining experience with different hand tools and possibly some power tools under close supervision. This class encourages problem-solving, critical thinking, and craftsmanship, allowing students to take pride in creating functional or decorative items. Whether working individually or collaboratively, students will build confidence in their abilities and gain a greater appreciation for the design and construction process.
