Course Description

For students wanting to pursue tertiary education, the Level 2 Home Economics achievement standards course consists of two internal papers and one external paper, totalling 14 credits, which allows students to gain course endorsement.

Students will learn about nutrition for people with specific needs, study the effect of the determinants of health on people’s food choices and how they affect overall well-being, and spend some time working out sustainable ways of feeding the whānau.
